
Eating a good breakfast is an important way to start the day. But how can we make sure our breakfasts contain all the nutrients we need? And how can we take into account the health of our planet, as well as the health of our bodies?
In this lesson, students will learn how to search for nutritional information about the products they buy.
They will use this data to calculate the nutritional content of their food. Moreover, they will compare dairy milk with its increasingly popular plant-based alternatives to understand how these products impact the environment and the quality of their diet. (Students will also consider current knowledge gaps around those impacts.)
